Uzbekistan’s Embassy to Azerbaijan is now holding events to commemorate the 582 birth anniversary of Alisher Navoi, a great poet, philosopher, thinker, and author of unique works, over thirty collections of poems, prose works, major poems, and scientific treatises.
One of these events was a spiritual and educational evening organized in one of the schools in Azerbaijan that featured artistic and musical performances prepared by schoolchildren, gazelles, and rubai of the great poet. Besides event showcased a book fair of works by Alisher Navoi.

Reportedly, school #53 is one of Baku’s most advanced educational institutions, which established cooperation with Uzbekistan's Specialized School of Information and Communication Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi as part of the Olympic Cultural and Educational Program project.
