The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in the Turkish province of Bursa held ‘round table’ that saw young fellow citizens studying in the region's universities as well as working compatriots, Dunyo reports.
Consul General Amirsaid Agzamkhojaev told the participants about the essence of important initiatives for the further development of our country, improving the well-being of the population, strengthening the protection of human rights, education, economy, and other aspects, which were put forward in the Message of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan.
In recent years, Uzbekistan has drawn particular attention to the conditions created for the healthy and comprehensive development of the younger generation and to measures taken to strengthen relations with its compatriots abroad.
The participants also exchanged views on the implementation of joint cultural and educational projects with the Consulate General. Participants received detailed answers from diplomats to their questions.
After the event, representatives of the Consulate General held a tour of the tour university, where our compatriots study, and the hostels, where they live.
