Georgia, Uzbekistan to conduct joint cinema events

Acting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtoyor Saidov on February 2 held a meeting with Ambassador of Georgia Zurab Abdushelishvili, Dunyo reports.

The governmental department has reported that the schedule of events planned for the current year, including the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and Uzbekistan – Georgia inter-MFA consultations, has been agreed upon.

The parties’ interest in expanding the geography of interregional interaction was confirmed.

To intensify cultural-humanitarian exchanges, an agreement was reached to hold Culture and Cinema Days on a mutual basis and organize joint scientific and technical research.
