On January 25, the first plane of the Hungarian airline WizzAir touched down in Tashkent at 22:33 local time which is licensed to fly between Abu Dhabi and Tashkent.
It is planned that direct regular flights will be carried out on Airbus A320/A321 aircraft three times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays costing merely $45 one way.
It’s a second city in Uzbekistan where the company flies after Samarkand.
Wizz Air is a Hungarian low-cost airline headquartered in Budapest, Hungary, founded in 2003. As of July 2022, the company’s fleet consists of 141 Airbus aircraft.
