Centrum Air, a new Uzbek budget airline, has recently started operations in Uzbekistan and employs over 250 local and 400 foreign specialists. The press service of Uzbekistan Airports informed "Daryo" about this.
Currently, the airline possesses five Boeing 737 and A320 aeroplanes. In 2023, the company plans to expand its fleet to 20 aircraft, and in the next three years increase this number to 100.
"We hope that our airline will contribute to the development of the network, domestic tourism and civil aviation in general," said Abdulaziz Abdurahmanov, the company's general director.
The airline operates flights to 15 countries, including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, India, South Korea and others. It also makes additional flights from Tashkent to five cities in Uzbekistan: Nukus, Urganch, Termiz, Namangan and Fergana.
Also, the airline provides additional discounts on air tickets for citizens of Uzbekistan who want to perform the Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries.
