Having collected 6 points in 8 rounds, Nodirbek has become the sole leader of the round of competition. The 18-year-old Uzbek chess player will face his German peer Vincent Keimer on January 24.
Meanwhile, Javokhir Sindorov, Challenger’s tournament, lost to Mustafa Yilmaz in the 8th round. Sindorov will play against Mishra Abhimanyu in the next round on January 24.
