Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Kadambay Sultanov has met with the Director of Central Finance and Contracting Agency of the Republic of Latvia (CFLA) Anita Krūmiņa, Dunyo reports.
CFLA Director expressed her appreciation of the far-sighted initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to implement administrative reforms unveiled in December. Besides, she confirmed Latvia's readiness to share the country's experience in this field.
Anita Krūmiņa emphasized that CFLA is currently working with the European Union on a grant program to support the reforms in Uzbekistan worth €8mn. The project provides, among other things, assistance in implementing a competency-based personnel management system, ensuring transparency in the work of State authorities, deepening the digitalization processes as a tool to combat corruption, and others.
