The order of the Cabinet of Ministers dated January 12 stipulates the procedure for the use of technical means in the process of express inspection of narcotic drugs.
According to it, from July 1, 2023, the bodies can conduct further check-ups:
- when there is a suspicion that the substance (item) identified in the recording of a situation related to the illegal circulation of narcotic drugs is related to a narcotic drug;
- when there is a question as to which type of narcotics the identified substance (item) belongs to;
- when new types of drugs are discovered;
- when there is a suspicion that the currency sample identified during the rapid search activities is fake;
- when there is a need to ensure the continuity of rapid-search activities, in order to implement rapidity and save the relevant time.
In order to ensure the maintenance of a report of photos and videos of each of the above situations where the express inspection technical tool is used, they are stored in a separate collection for 2 years.
