"Dunyo" news agency reports that a meeting with the President of the Italian Agricultural Association, Gianfranco Grechi, was held at the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Rome.
the President of the Italian Agricultural Association, Gianfranco Grechi expressed his appreciation for the relations established with the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan and noted positive moves in negotiations with a number of Uzbek agricultural delegations.
Grechi also announced the upcoming food fair - "II Mediterraneo Wine&Food and Travel" which will be held in Naples in May would be a good opportunity for Uzbek farmers.
"More than 20 countries from Latin America, Europe and the Middle East are enrolled in this exhibition. Food products from different countries will be presented at the event. Today, the concept of the exhibition is being developed. This international event can be a good opportunity to introduce the agricultural products of Uzbekistan to the world, as well as to strengthen mutual relations with representatives of the Italian agricultural sector," Gianfranco Grechi noted.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to elaborate the participation of representatives of Uzbekistan in the international food exhibition "II Mediterraneo Wine&Food and Travel" to be held in Naples.
