January 7. When the reports of the incumbent Chairman of Dzhokogi Kenges Amanbay Orinbayev were heard, all 22 participants of the mass riots in Nukus apologized at the Bukhara regional court.
The detainees expressed their sincere regret for their actions, asked for forgiveness and convey it to the president of Uzbekistan.
Orinbayev informed that the defendants are citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, regardless of who they are, and will certainly deliver their request. Then Minister of Internal Affairs of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orinbayev pleaded with the jury to grant relief to the suspects within the law.
