UzAuto Trailer, the state-owned company, sold its 100 percent shares to Tekhnopolis "Khimgrad" Russian high-tech coampany (Tataristan) for 561.1 billion soums. This was reported by the State Asset Management Agency.
The consulting company "Mosaic Financial" which acted as a consultant on privatization cooperated with the international evaluation company PricewaterhouseCoopers.
6 applications (Express of Interest) have been received from investors in Europe, the CIS, and Uzbekistan.
The bidders were scrutinized for the absence of administrative, arbitration, or other legal proceedings that could prohibit participation in the privatization process, and for not being included in the list of sanctions of the European Union and the United States, as well as major international financial institutions.
"Khimgrad" technopolis industrial park is an industrial park located in the city of Kazan.
The total area is 131 hectares, and the design area of buildings and structures exceeds 500,000 square meters. Residents of the industrial park are small and medium-sized businesses engaged in low-tonnage chemistry, polymer processing, nanotechnologies, resource-saving and energy efficiency, and medical technologies.

UzAuto Trailer enterprise was established on June 4, 2012, in Jomboy district of Samarkand region. The enterprise produces trailer equipment and suspension equipment for various trucks (chassis).
The design capacity of the enterprise is up to 3 thousand units: 2 thousand units of semi-trailers and one thousand units of suspended machinery, to provide a wide range of vehicles for the provision of various sectors of the economy, including tipper bodies, semi-trailers, container carriers, awning bodies, isothermal semi-trailers and the production of vans has been mastered.
Also, the authorized capital of the enterprise is 156.3 billion soums. The profit for 2021 is 626.2 billion soums, the net profit is 53 billion soums.
