President Shavkat Mirziyoyev talked about the measures to develop entrepreneurship and industry and ensure the employment of the population. He also touched on the issue of energy supply, which has been bothering people in recent days.
Over the past six years, the industry has seen significant changes, including:
- The erection of more than 5 thousand megawatts of new electric power (only 3.3 thousand megawatts of power were put into operation in the previous 25 years);
- The modernization of 45,000 kilometers of electrical grid which is 3-4 times more than in previous years;
- An increase of liquefied gas and coal production by 1.5 times.
