Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber Alisher Kadirov believes that privatization of the energy sector would be a key solution to many problems.
‘You produce for 100 UZS and sell for 101 UZS, satisfying the income in 1 UZS. But this 1 UZS will gain 1bn. You spend 990mn on repairing networks to maintain the market’, Alisher Kadirov noted on his telegram channel.
‘If you produce for 100 UZS and sell for 25 UZS, 75UZS will be covered by debt, and the network will be repaired every 3-4 years for the extra money that will remain in the budget’, Deputy Speaker stated.
Last month Alisher Kadirov reflected on the privatization of the energy sector, stressing that the sphere needs reforms.
According to Finance Minister Timur Ishmetov, subsidies for electricity and gas are increasing due to no tariff increase.
