On the same day of December 1, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov as part of his visit to Lodz, the second largest city in Poland, to participate in the annual meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the 57 OSCE participating States, met with the Foreign Minister of Greece Nikos Dengias.
The top diplomats discussed the specific aspects of bilateral cooperation in the respect of UN institutions as well as regional organizations. Besides, they expressed their interest in establishing educational collaboration between the institutions of the two countries, particularly the Diplomatic Academy at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the Diplomatic Academy of the Foreign Ministry of Greece.
In his speech, Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov called on the Greek side to take part in the efforts of the UN Multi-Partner Human Security Trust Fund for the Aral Sea Region.
