The price of local coal has not changed in Uzbekistan since 2019. "Uzbekkomir" JSC information service informed "Daryo" about this.
According to the information of the society, the price of coal has been kept unchanged for four years, considering their social protection.
One ton of local coal, sold through warehouses belonging to the "Komir Taminot" company, is 300 300 soums. The products purchased by residents in regional coal warehouses are loaded free of charge in the vehicles owned by the warehouse," the message says.
Every year the need for coal is determined by neighbourhoods that do not have access to natural gas, and a corresponding list is created and presented to the district (city) administrations.
Based on these lists, local governments order regional coal warehouses and approve the coal distribution schedule. Residents can apply to their nearest regional coal depot.
