As a result of turning off some street lights in the capital Tashkent, the daily electricity usage has declined by 25%. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy with reference to "Tashshaharnur".
Starting from November 16, a regime of limiting energy consumption in street lighting networks was introduced in Tashkent that allowed to save 25% of the power. In October, the average daily consumption was 115,900 kWh, and in November, this figure went down to 87,800 kWh.
As a result, 843 thousand kWh per month of electricity was saved.
