Around 480 companies around the world employ Uzbek migrant workers in more than 30 countries. Minister of Employment and Labor Relations Nozim Husanov informed the participants about this at the event held at the International Hotel Tashkent in Tashkent.
The Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations, the Agency for Foreign Labor Migration, the International Organization for Migration, more than 70 potential foreign employers, international experts and media are participating in the international labour migration forum.
The forum participants noted that over the past three years the geography of migration and the weight of attracting Uzbeks who want to work abroad to work in the developed countries of the world has increased.
“As a result of constant negotiations with foreign potential employers, today cooperation agreements have been signed with about 480 organizations of more than 30 countries, and Uzbek people can work abroad in an organized manner, - the head of the information service of the Ministry, Mazhuda Mirzayeva said.
During 2021-2022, Uzbek migrant workers going abroad for temporary employment were trained in about 30 professions at 17 Ishga Marhamat mono center and 150 vocational training and language learning centres.
