According to the results of January-October 2022, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan reached 40.1 billion dollars and rose by 7.3 billion dollars or 22.2% compared to the same period of 2021, the State Statistics Committee reports.
During the reporting period, a passive foreign trade balance of -9.1 billion dollars was recorded.
Among the country's 20 largest foreign trade partners, there is a positive balance in trade with 3 countries such as Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
Today, Uzbekistan has established trade relations with 196 countries of the world. The largest volume of foreign trade turnover is China (18.7%), Russia (18.6%), Kazakhstan (9.3%), Turkey (6.7%), South Korea (4.9%), Kyrgyzstan It corresponds to the share of Azerbaijan (2.5 percent) and Germany (2.2 percent).
Tashkent demonstrated the largest share in the country's foreign trade turnover, 15.7 billion dollars, and the smallest share was 319.7 million dollars in Surkhandarya region.
