The National Coordinate System will be introduced in Uzbekistan in 2023-2025. Nemat Otamuratov, head of the information service of the Cadastre Agency, announced during the briefing.
The main forecast indicators of the 2023-2026 activities approved by the President's decision are:
- Measuring 25 million 169 thousand hectares of land plots and creating their digital maps;
- Measuring more than 8,200,000 buildings and structures and creating their electronic database;
- Determining the boundaries of 9370 mahallas;
- Inspection of land resources in 111 districts;
- Delimitation of 1665 administrative-territorial units.
- Organization of comparison and calibration of measuring instruments used in the field of geodesy and cartography;
- Introduction of the National Coordinate System in the territory of Uzbekistan in 2023-2025;
- Development of transition parameters from the state coordinate system (SK-42) to the World coordinate system (WGS-84).
Starting from January 1, 2023, it is strictly forbidden to interfere with the legal activities of regional departments of the Cadastre Agency, regional departments of the State Cadastre Chamber and district (city) branches by local state authorities.
