On September 2, a terrorist attack, committed in the Guzargah Mosque in western Afghanistan's Herat, killed at least 18 and injured over 21 mosque-comers during the Friday prayer.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan strongly condemned this action, which caused many casualties and injuries among civilians.
"Such heinous actions lead to the escalation of the situation in Afghanistan and prevent the establishment of long-term and stable peace and national harmony in the country.
We express our condolences to the family members and relatives of the deceased and wish for the recovery of the injured," the ministry said in a statement.
