Uzbek diplomats in Rome, the Deputy Chairman of the Commodity Exchange of Uzbekistan Nabikhan Samatov and the President of "Imagro Group" (Italy) Massimo met online to negotiate the terms of the representative office of the Republican Commodity Exchange in Italy, Dunyo news agency reports.
Massimo Pollio noted that in recent years the cooperation between Italy and Uzbekistan has been rapidly expanding in various directions, especially in the trade and economic sphere. Taking into account the wide economic opportunities and potential of the republic, it was noted that the representatives of Italian business circles show great interest in the development of trade and economic relations with Uzbekistan.
Italian businessman also expressed his readiness to establish cooperation with the Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange, open the country's trading platform and implement a long-term partnership. He also informed that he has the opportunity to help expand trade relations not only with Italy but also with companies from Romania, Greece, France and other neighbouring countries.
The head of the Italian company offered to open a representative office of the Uzbekistan Commodity Exchange near the office of "Imagro Group" in Milan as the first step of cooperation. He also said that he is ready to sign a bilateral memorandum of understanding. At the end of the meeting, the parties reached a number of agreements on establishing mutually beneficial cooperation.
