Prime Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov has signed the ordinance to temporarily suspend the implementation of the decision No. 348 of June 30, 2022 "On the introduction of market mechanisms in the supply of fuel and energy resources" that had envisaged raising the utility bills for public and industry sector, the Ministry of Energy reports.
The decision has been made to provide the business entities with fuel and energy resources and to carefully analyze the work of gradually transferring price formation to market principles.
The Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Jamshid Kochkarov and First Deputy Minister of Energy Azim Ahmadkhojayev have been charged with implementing the order.
