On July 4, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev talked on the phone with the President of Kazakhstan Qasim-Jomart Tokayev. At the beginning of the conversation, President Tokayev fully supported the strict measures taken by the head of the state to put an end to unlawful actions in Karakalpakstan, to ensure stability and consistent development.
The top officials also conversed about the implementation of agreements reached at a high level, including the promotion of cooperation projects in the fields of industry, agriculture, transport, logistics, and mutual supply of products.
The Central Asian state presidents discussed multilateral and regional cooperation in preparation for the next Consultative meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia.
