On July 3, President Mirziyoyev visited the "Jeketerak" neighbourhood of Nukus, Karakalpakstan where he met the local residents, the press secretary of the president reports.
The dwellers of Jeketerak admitted that some young people went astray and committed illegal acts, were influenced by external malicious forces and became emotional. The sides emphasized that Uzbek and Karakalpak people are bilingual nations and that the unity and peace of the country should be valued.
