President Mirziyoyev gave a number of instructions to the Uzbek governors at a meeting on vocational training to meet and talk with school graduates in person, the President’s press secretary reports.
"The school year is almost over. We have a salient work to do – to find jobs for 404,000 secondary education, 151,000 vocational education, and 125,000 university graduates. A total of 680,000 young people,’ Uzbek President says.
The state leader urged all governors:
- to meet with graduates in person;
- to announce the exact time, place, and telephone numbers of meetings through social networks and the media;
- to invite university rectors, employers, heads of business clusters, and government agencies;
- to organize vocational training in monocenters based on the needs of employers.
In order to do this, the khokims will have to set up control centres to meet youngsters and their parents through social networks and to promptly respond to any complaints.
