President Mirziyoyev has ordered to exempt of imported literature and equipment from custom duties during the videoconference on further improvement of vocational schools on June 15.
The head of state harshly rebuked the old system where there is no private vocational training institution yet, although there are all legal grounds exist in the country, the President's press secretary Sherzod Asadov says.
In order to intensify work in this area, a number of benefits will be provided for the establishment of private colleges and technical schools for local and foreign companies that wish to train and employ Uzbek youth.
For example:
The payment requirement for a license will be reduced by 2 times;
The vacant buildings will be leased for longer terms;
The imported literature and equipment will be exempt from customs duties;
Each vocational school graduate will receive 1 bln soums;
Students from needy families will have 30% of the payment contract reimbursed.
