An agreement has been reached between prominent medical institutions in Kazakhstan and Türkiye, paving the way for enhanced collaboration in medical education and practice.
Minister of Health of Kazakhstan, Akmaral Alnazarova, hailed the Turkish healthcare system's advancements and expressed gratitude to Turkish counterparts for their commitment to joint efforts in medical education, scientific research, and clinical practice. Particularly highlighted was Türkiye's expertise in hospital management and disaster medicine, which Kazakhstan aims to leverage through this partnership.
Rector Ömer Ceran of Istanbul Medipol University affirmed the university's dedication to advancing medical education and practice in Kazakhstan. Under the terms of the agreement, Istanbul Medipol University will establish a branch at Astana Medical University.
This collaboration will see Turkish faculty and clinicians conducting lectures and master classes in Astana while providing opportunities for students and faculty of Astana Medical University to train and gain practical experience in Turkey's renowned clinics and research facilities.
Founded in 2009, Istanbul Medipol University has garnered international acclaim, ranking among the top 300 and top 400 universities worldwide in prestigious educational rankings such as The Impact Rating World University Rankings and QS World University Rankings.
It holds a distinguished position as one of Türkiye's top three universities, celebrated for its contributions to medical science and technology. The university operates 13 state-of-the-art hospital facilities across Istanbul, further bolstering its reputation as a leader in healthcare education and research.
