Kyrgyz Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov has pledged to enhance practical cooperation with China during an international forum commemorating the 85th anniversary of Osh State University. The event also marked the opening of a center for robotics and artificial intelligence at the university, as it was reported by Xinhua on June 3.
Prime Minister Japarov thanked China for its ongoing support in Kyrgyzstan's socio-economic development. He highlighted the importance of the new center in nurturing innovation talents and fostering cooperation between the two countries.
The forum saw the attendance of prominent figures including Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen and Minister of Education and Science Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, highlighting the significance of the event and bilateral relations.
Ambassador Du Dewen congratulated Osh State University on its anniversary, emphasizing the rapid development of cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan. She noted the role of the Confucius Institute in promoting Chinese language teaching.
The center, established with Chinese support, will contribute to Belt and Road cooperation by training talents in robotics and artificial intelligence, aligning with bilateral goals.
