Employment opportunities have emerged for citizens of Uzbekistan, courtesy of leading car manufacturers Volkswagen and Volvo in Slovakia, as reported by the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction.
Volkswagen is seeking skilled professionals to join its production lines for premium cars, cable assemblies, chassis, interiors, as well as installation, diagnostics, and testing of vehicles. The company aims to hire up to 240 specialists each month, aged between 18 and 45 years. The roles entail three-shift work schedules, with candidates required to have a communicative level of proficiency in the Russian language. Salaries range from €1200 to €1600 per month.
Meanwhile, Volvo is on the lookout for up to 150 truck drivers monthly, within the same age bracket. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license for categories C and E, in addition to proficiency in the Russian language. The remuneration for these positions falls between €1,700 and €2,400 per month.
To facilitate the application process, the Ministry of Employment and the Agency for External Labor Migration are set to release a registration form shortly.
