Russia initiated a national day of mourning on March 24, to honor the victims of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall near Moscow, marking the thirtieth such day in the country's modern history, as reported by RIA Novosti.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the decision to declare March 24 as a day of mourning in a special address, condemning the attack as "bloody" and "barbaric." He pledged that those responsible for the act of terrorism would face justice.
Muscovites paid tribute to the victims by laying flowers at the site of the attack, while memorials were erected across the country. Thousands of residents donated blood to support the victims, and several Russian banks announced plans to forgive loans for those affected.
The attack occurred on March 22 in Krasnogorsk, with assailants opening fire and setting fires in Crocus City Hall.

Intelligence revealed that the weapons used were prepared in advance. Authorities apprehended 11 individuals, including four directly involved in the attack, with all suspects being foreign nationals.
