Melikuziyev is scheduled to participate in the evening card of the event, which will be headlined by the much-anticipated fight between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney.
Currently training in the USA, Melikuziyev holds the WBA Intercontinental and WBO Intercontinental belts in his weight category. His most recent fight took place in October 2023, when he emerged victorious against Alantez Fox. The match, held at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Chelsea Ballroom, ended in the 4th round with Melikuziyev defeating Fox by technical knockout. Bektemir Melikuziev embarked on his professional boxing career in June 2010. His amateur boxing prowess was demonstrated when he clinched a silver medal at the 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championship, followed by another silver in the middleweight category at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
