The memorandum, signed on February 22, 2024, marks a pivotal moment in educational diplomacy, solidifying the commitment of both institutions to promote academic exchange and support talented individuals in pursuing higher education.
The signing ceremony, held at the foundation's premises, saw the presence of key figures including Javakhir Akhmedov, the deputy executive director of the "El-Yurt Umidi" foundation, Tim Field, Director of International Relations of the University of Sydney, Halil Evike, International Admissions Manager, and Gabriel Radular, a specialist.
The University of Sydney, renowned for its academic excellence and rich history, stands as a beacon of learning since its establishment in 1850. Boasting a prestigious position in the QS international rankings, it encompasses various faculties and schools, including Engineering, Arts and Social Sciences, Business, Medicine, and Health, among others.
