On January 12, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved a comprehensive set of measures aimed at boosting tourist inflow. The presidential decree posted on Lex.uz, encompasses financial initiatives to support tourist infrastructure development, with a specific focus on family business programs.
The loans will be disbursed in the national currency, with an interest rate equivalent to the Central Bank's main rate plus 4%. The duration and amount of the loans will be contingent on the type of infrastructure being developed. The outlined categories include swimming pools, tent camps, yurt camps, eco-houses, container camps, hostels, glamping sites, autocamping, modular hotels, and aquaparks.
