On Instagram, a blogger engaged in roofing under the name Raksmane shared a video of climbing to the top of the Tashkent TV tower.
He wrote that when entering the TV tower, the internal affairs officers took away all their equipment.
"I managed to overcome the first 100 meters up by elevator, then about another 100 meters I climbed on my feet up the stairs, climbing around the guards on the outer part, the next part was already on the fire escapes. The number of guards was surprising even then. A metal detector at the entrance with police officers in uniform (not security guards, but police officers), stewards escorting and greeting at the elevators, security guards in uniform and in plain clothes with walkie-talkies. It seemed impossible to get through," he wrote.
The blogger said that, he passed the control of many cameras and climbed to the top. Along the way, he imagined himself as if he were inside a ship or a flying saucer separated by airlocks.
Tashkent TV tower is the tallest building in Central Asia. Its height is 375m. In the official language, the Tashkent TV tower is called the H-375m facility. The TV tower was completed in 6 years, starting from 1978. Launched on January 15, 1985.
