The International Fencing Federation (FIE) has unveiled the latest athlete rankings in various age categories for January 2024, with significant representation from Uzbekistan's youth national team.
Dilnaz Murzatayeva secured the top position in the epee, while Fernanda Herrera claimed the lead in the saber.
In team events, the saber boys clinched the first spot, the girls secured second place, and the epee girls earned a respectable third place.
Here's an overview of Uzbek athletes ranked among the top ten in the individual ratings:

- Dilnaz Murzatayeva (Uzbekistan) - 131.5 points
- Shahzoda Egamberdiyeva (Uzbekistan) - 62 points
Epee, Guys:
- Muhammad Yasin (Egypt) – 189.250 points
- Meyirkhan Timurov (Uzbekistan) - 49 points
Saber, Girls:
- Fernanda Herrera (Uzbekistan) - 166 points
- Gulistan Perdibayeva (Uzbekistan) - 96 points
- Ayakoz Jumamuratova (Uzbekistan) - 91 points
Saber, Guys:
- Dari Lukashenko (Ukraine) – 129 points
- Islambek Abdazov (Uzbekistan) - 119.5 points
- Azizbek Dauletnazarov (Uzbekistan) - 116.250 points.
Earlier, it was reported that in the latest ranking released by the International Chess Federation (FIDE), Uzbekistan boasts four grandmasters among the world's top 100 players. Additionally, Uzbekistan shines in the category of top 20 chess players under the age of 20, featuring three talented players.
