On February 10-12, Tashkent will host the stage of the World Cup in saber fencing among women. Reportedly, this large-scale event will be attended by world-ranking leaders purporting for licenses and medals to participating in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The Uzbekistan Fencing Federation said that about 20 countries applied for participation. The strongest athletes from China, Spain, Japan, Hungary, South Korea, Poland, the USA, Italy, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, and other countries will compete in individual and team events. The honor of Uzbekistan will be defended by 18 promising young fencers.
The stage of the World Cup in saber fencing among women will be held at the Palace of Gymnastic Sports. Entrance to the competition is open to everyone.
