The Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Amirsaid Agzamkhojaev, officially presented his credentials to the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, Dunyo reports. The ceremony took place at the Belvedere Palace in Warsaw, the designated official residence of the Polish leader.
In the course of the formal proceedings, the Polish president expressed his keen interest in advancing bilateral cooperation across various domains. He underscored Poland's view of Uzbekistan as a crucial and promising partner in Central Asia, endorsing the extensive and irreversible reforms being undertaken in the country.
The report highlights the considerable strengthening of Uzbek-Polish cooperation in recent years, particularly in trade and the economy, imbuing the relationship with fresh and practical significance. Polish business circles are increasingly enthusiastic about fostering connections with Uzbek counterparts, indicating substantial potential for elevating bilateral relations to a more advanced stage.
Furthermore, the Uzbekistani government received appreciation for its efforts in enhancing the memorial site where the soldiers of Polish General Władysław Anders are interred.
Following the credential presentation, the ambassador participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw.
