In a significant move to bolster trade and economic relations between China and Kyrgyzstan, the Chinese government has announced plans to simplify the visa issuance process for Kyrgyzstani businessmen. This development was discussed during a meeting between Temir Sariyev, Head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Kyrgyzstan, and Du Dewen, the Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan.
The two dignitaries underscored the necessity of expediting the visa acquisition process for entrepreneurs. Ambassador Du Dewen revealed that starting from December 17, there will be a change in the visa issuance regime by the Chinese side. In a statement, the CCI said,
At the same time, it will comply with the current standards. Businessmen who are members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic will be able to contact the embassy through the organization if they have an invitation and a letter from the CCI. And their issues will be resolved on a priority.
This move is expected to facilitate smoother business operations and strengthen the economic ties between the two nations.
