The presidential decree regarding the enhancement of the quality of allergic diseases prevention and treatment has been issued. The decision outlines measures to enhance the prevention system for allergic diseases, focusing on strengthening control over epidemiological indicators through primary healthcare and implementing targeted screening examinations.
Starting January 1, 2024, a system will be established to provide free inhaled glucocorticosteroid drugs to individuals with allergic and immunological conditions listed in the "Unified Register of Social Protection."
Regular mass and selective screening examinations will be conducted, especially in areas with high rates of allergic diseases, including seasonal allergies. In these regions, the range of high-tech diagnostic and treatment procedures in allergology and clinical immunology will gradually increase from 10 to 20 types.
From January 1, 2024, the Republican Scientific and Specialized Allergology Center will be transformed into the Republican Scientific and Applied Medical Center of Allergology and Clinical Immunology, providing specialized and urgent medical care for allergic diseases to Tashkent city residents.
A comprehensive system will be implemented in 2024, involving the study of aeroallergens causing allergic diseases and their seasonal distribution in different regions. The results will be regularly reported to the Hydrometeorological Service Agency by the International Molecular Allergology Center. Information on aeroallergen composition, seasonal distribution, and environmental pollution will be published on relevant websites and other platforms.
By April 1, 2024, an electronic registry for patients with allergic diseases will be developed and implemented.
