Fly and See Agro, a Russian company, has unveiled ambitious plans to initiate drone production in Uzbekistan. The memorandum of understanding for this significant investment project was signed by Habib Abdullayev, the head of the Navoi free economic zone, and Vasily Ptitsyn, the General Director of Fly and See Agro.
This venture will focus on the production of unmanned aerial systems with applications in agriculture. Over a five-year period, the project will attract investments amounting to $80mn. The project also encompasses the involvement of Russian specialists and the export of finished drone products to both the Russian market and third countries.
Uzbekistan is envisioned as a strategic launchpad for Fly and See Agro to extend its reach into the Middle East markets.
