Kyrgyzstan recently conducted tests of Akinji and Aksungur attack drones purchased from Turkey, according to reports from Sputnik. These tests were overseen by President Sadir Japarov and the head of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchibek Tashiyev, and took place at the "Edelweiss" military training ground.
The Akinji drone is powered by two AI-450T turboprop engines, each delivering 450 horsepower. It is designed for swift strategic aerial reconnaissance and air strikes against enemy targets, boasting a maximum flight speed of 361 kilometers per hour.
The Aksungur drone, on the other hand, is primarily an attack drone adapted for visual and radio reconnaissance as well as patrolling. It features two TEI PD170 turboprop engines, each with 170 horsepower, and is capable of reaching a speed of 240 kilometers per hour. Aksungur is a versatile asset that serves multiple functions in military operations.
Both drones are equipped for day and night combat missions, featuring advanced optical and radar tracking devices, as well as laser targeting devices. These technologies enhance their operational capabilities in various scenarios and conditions.
