Uzbekistan's national judo team member, Shahram Akhadov, achieved a significant milestone in his career by winning the Grand Slam tournament for the first time. This remarkable feat was confirmed by the National Olympic Committee's press service.
Competing in the under 73 kg weight category, Akhadov displayed his unwavering determination in the tournament's intense final match in Abu Dhabi, where he defeated Akil Gjakova from Kosovo.
As a result of this outstanding performance, he has earned 1,000 points in both the global and Olympic rankings.
