In a significant development aimed at enhancing educational opportunities and language proficiency in Kyrgyzstan, the Bashkir State Pedagogical University has launched three education centers in the country. The announcement was made during the International Russian-Kyrgyz Teachers Forum, "Looking into the Future," held in Bishkek.
These education centers have been strategically located in Bishkek, Karakol, and Batken. The centers are situated at Gazprom school in Bishkek, Issyk-Kul State University in Karakol, and Lenin Secondary School in Batken. Their primary mission is to provide Kyrgyzstanis with opportunities to improve their language skills and acquire valuable new competencies at no cost.
Sergei Malyshev, the acting head of the Center for International Cooperation of the Russian Ministry of Education, emphasized that these education centers serve as additional platforms for implementing Russian educational programs.
"These are additional bricks for the foundation of a unified educational space in Russian, which we are now building," he noted.
The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan, Aigul Rysbaeva, underscored the importance of these centers in enhancing the knowledge of the Russian language among Kyrgyzstan's residents. She noted that the Ministry has been collaborating with the Bashkir State Pedagogical University since 2021 to support Russian language learning initiatives in Kyrgyzstan.
Over the years, considerable efforts have been made to popularize and promote the Russian language, literature, and culture in Kyrgyzstan. These initiatives aim to strengthen the position of the Russian language as a means of interethnic communication, fostering unity and understanding among diverse communities.
"The main goal of the forum is to improve the professional skills of teachers in the country's schools in organizing the educational process," Deputy Minister Rysbaeva emphasized.
The forum, "Looking into the Future," serves as a platform for educators to exchange ideas, share best practices, and enhance their capabilities in providing quality education to Kyrgyzstan's students.
These education centers represent a significant step toward creating a more inclusive and accessible educational environment in Kyrgyzstan, further promoting language proficiency and cultural exchange among its diverse population.
