The "Evening of Uzbek National Dance" will take place at the State Museum of Applied Arts and the History of Crafts of Uzbekistan, Tashkent on September 30.
According to the museum's press office, the event will be organized by the residents of the "Happy Women" dance club and the instructors from the Republican Specialized Boarding School for Choreography, with the support and collaboration of the museum.
Elena Kariakubova, a teacher at the State Academy of Choreography in Uzbekistan, will deliver a presentation on the history of Uzbek dance.
During the creative evening, there will be photo exhibitions dedicated to the history of Uzbek national dance, dance performances by renowned dance masters, and a masterclass by instructor Mamur Ergashev.
One of the photo exhibitions will pay tribute to the very first legendary ensemble, "Bahor." Guests can participate in contests and quizzes related to dance.
The event is expected to feature performances by state ensembles such as "Shodlik" and "Lazgi," as well as by Susan Usenova, a teacher at the State Academy of Choreography, and students from the Republican Specialized Boarding School for Choreography.
