Georgian border police detained two individuals from Kyrgyzstan for unlawfully crossing the Georgian border.
An investigation discovered that the individuals had bypassed proper passport control measures by concealing themselves in a truck that had arrived from Türkiye.
The incident occurred in Batumi, where the individuals were apprehended and taken into custody.

The border between Georgia and Türkiye spans 273 km (170 mi), extending from the Black Sea in the west to the tripoint shared with Armenia in the east.
