In the current year 2023, Uzbekistan has ranked 94th out of 176 in the National Cybersecurity Index, according to data published on the NCSI website. This is six positions lower compared to the end of the previous year.
The rating took into account criteria such as the global cybersecurity index, the index of information and communication technology development, and network readiness.
Other Central Asian countries are positioned as follows:
- Kazakhstan — 78th place.
- Kyrgyzstan — 91st place.
- Tajikistan — 153rd place.
- Turkmenistan — 164th place.
Belgium has topped the rankings, while South Sudan has the lowest scores.
