The latest round of political discussions between the foreign affairs ministries of Uzbekistan and Russia occurred in Moscow, MFA of Uzbekistan reports.
As per the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegations were led by Uzbekistan's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bobur Usmanov, and Russia's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mikhail Galuzin.
Throughout the talks, they assessed progress in preparations for upcoming bilateral events, with a primary focus on the state and future potential of cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian aspects. Special emphasis was placed on further enhancing mutually advantageous collaboration within international and regional organizations and expanding the legal foundation of bilateral relations.
Both sides agreed to maintain regular communication between their foreign affairs ministries to develop fresh initiatives and recommendations aimed at strengthening their comprehensive strategic partnership and alliance.
