An advisor from the Taliban's Ministry of Higher Education, in conversation with the Associated Press news agency, stated that all conditions have been provided for girls to enroll in universities, and they are awaiting the orders from the head of the Islamic Emirate. This was reported by a correspondent from Daryo in Afghanistan.
A few days ago, reports emerged in the media about the opening of schools and colleges for girls on August 15, the Victory Day of the Taliban and the withdrawal of foreign forces from Afghanistan.
Earlier, Daryo reported that the Taliban group's Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has officially designated Tuesday, August 15, as a public holiday in commemoration of the two-year anniversary since the fall of Kabul.
In accordance with their declaration, the Taliban has marked August 15 as a significant day, representing Victory Day in remembrance of their perceived triumph over the "American occupation" and their allied forces.
