From January through June 2023, Tajikistan imported 1,435 cars from Georgia, 2.3 times more than in the corresponding period in 2022.
Reportedly, car exports from Georgia totaled $15.842mn, four times more than last year's first half.
Trade turnover between Tajikistan and Georgia reached $19.599mn during the same period, increasing 3.2 times compared to the first half of 2022.
Tajikistan's imports from Georgia grew 3.3 times year-on-year, from $5.925mn to $19.563mn.
However, Tajikistan's exports to Georgia declined by 4.7 times, totaling $36,030 during the first six months compared to $170,660 in 2022.
Tajikistan's trade turnover decreased by 2.8% or $98.2mn, amounting to $3.42bn from January through June 2023 compared to the same period in 2022.
