On the Day of Transport Workers, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, a national company, unveiled a new square near the Triumphal Arch monument in the capital city. The opening ceremony saw Zhenis Kassymbek, the Astana mayor, and the company's management.
The event coincided with the birthday of the Esil district.
The 1-hectare park boasts over 300 deciduous trees, such as maples, lindens, and cherries, as well as more than 3000 shrubs and flowers. It features automatic watering, alpine slides, and a lawn cover.
The park also includes a children's playground, workout machines, and benches for recreation and sports.
The railway workers expressed gratitude for the opportunity to present the capital with such an exceptional gift.
Earlier, Daryo reported that on August 5, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, congratulated the country's railway sector employees.
